Forum for Voluntary Social Work in Sweden welcomes You and Your organization to participate at the Conference for NGO’s and organised civil society in Örebro 27th-28th of October 2009.
We all know that participatory democracy is an important factor in the project of building “A Europe for the Citizens”. What must we do to make that happen? How can we contribute to the solutions and what must be changed in the process to include our knowledge? What preconditions and structures are necessary and what kind of dialogue do we need?
If wellbeeing - not just economic growth - is important, what do we need to do? Can politics recognize and value social return on investments? How do we measure the voluntary work and the social impact we want to make.The conference is arranged during the Swedish EU presidency 2009.
